Colorado Rapids fans make big donations
Kei Kamara's current club Colorado Rapids helped promote and support the 2019 HeartShapedHands equipment drive, collecting hundreds of gently used items for our initiative.
On Sunday, September 29, 2019, more than a hundred Rapids fans donated items prior to the Rapids-FC Dallas home match at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. To show his appreciation for their generosity, Kamara hosted a private meet-and-greet with donors.
In total, HeartShapedHands collected over 300 gently used sports items that will be given to children in his native Sierra Leone, West Africa.
